We are a non-profit refugee mutual assistance association funded by the DHHS Administration for Children and Families, Office of Refugee Resettlement, where refugees can feel at home with native languages, child-friendly meeting space, traditional learning styles, and culturally-appropriate assistance in achieving financial and social self-sufficiency.
Somali Bantu refugees have begun applying for and achieiving U.S. Citizenship! The Citizenship testing process includes a personal interview, a written test, and an American civics test. After 5 years living in the United States, refugee are eligible to apply for their American citizenship. Shown here is a new citizen signing his cerificate during his Oath Ceremony.
